On the Atlantic coast, located near the city of Bordeaux, about 50 kilometers away from the ocean, we are very much into seafood.
We started as fishermen and then moved on to a slighty different job, still within this profession scope. Indeed, judging from our own experience, we thought about a way to set up materials which could help preserving fishing products the most efficiently and the longest time possible.
Polystyrene has the ability to isolate and keep fresh seafood cooler during a certain amount of time. You will therefore find a variety of polystyrene products such as
plates, trays, shaped like boat plates, platters, ... which have this potential.
Lately we have developed a new material which has far better qualities than polystyrene, in terms of isothermal ability for example. It is called polypropylene, a great material with stunning features: shockproof with shape memory, re-usable, isothermal resistant from - 40° C to + 110° C, light, with great capacity; blocking UV rays and complying with European food regulations.
